I’m Fabrício Furtado, and my journey with English began quite early. I was born in Piracicaba, São Paulo, and I moved to England when I was only three years old, so I grew up fully immersed in the language.
Throughout my life, I’ve lived in the UK for almost ten years across three different periods. I also gained valuable international experience in the United States, France, and other European countries. This background has given me a strong international perspective and a natural mastery of the English language.
I have a degree in International Trade and a Master’s degree in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick in the UK.
Before committing fully to teaching English, I worked for several years in international trade, gaining first-hand experience of global business and the real-world use of English in corporate settings.
From the age of 18, I discovered a passion for teaching, guided by my belief in effective communication and knowledge exchange as powerful tools for professional and personal growth. Throughout my career, I’ve also worked at some of Brazil’s leading English language schools, both as a teacher and as a pedagogical coordinator, which has given me a broad and strategic understanding of language education.
I also hold internationally recognised certifications such as IELTS and the Cambridge CPE, and nowadays I support adult learners in using English with confidence in their careers—offering classes that go far beyond conventional lessons and connect learning directly to real professional life.
